- I'm affraid there's not a heck of a lot you can do. Hayes v.34
- modems have been a HUGE source of problems with just about every v.34
- modem I've run. IMO they're amonst the worst on the market, selling
- purely because of their name. For now,keep connecting with vFC, Hayes
- modems are better at handling vFC then v.34. You could also try disabling
- the 3429 symbol rate and see if that helps any. All in all though, you're
- best bet is to bitch and complain to your ISP until they realize their
- mistake.
